We’re looking for an experienced Content Marketing Manager to join the Marketing team at Loomly!

About the role

As our new Content Marketing Manager, you’ll lead content strategy and development for the Loomly Blog and our Social Media Marketing Newsletter.

The ideal candidate will be an exceptional writer and editor with experience producing B2B content that converts. This role will report to the VP of Growth Marketing and work most closely with team members across product marketing, social media, and performance marketing.

What you'll work on

  • Set the content strategy and calendar for the Loomly blog, creating content that educates and inspires the Loomly audience, including social media managers, business and franchise owners, and agencies
  • Optimize all content for search engines and develop a long-term content strategy for SEO, lead nurturing, lead generation, and increasing site traffic
  • Write blog content and guest posts and manage content in the HubSpot CMS
  • Manage freelance writers and edit copy for the Loomly Blog and monthly newsletter
  • Work with our design agency to create visual assets for content marketing
  • Work closely with our product marketing team to create content that highlights Loomly and its features for different use cases and different stages of the funnel
  • Work with our performance marketing and social media teams to find ways for content to support and maximize our paid media and organic social efforts
  • Build the Loomly blog into a destination for social media and marketing education
  • Test and optimize our monthly content marketing newsletter

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience writing and editing content. Journalism experience and/or experience working on B2B blogs is a plus
  • 3+ years of experience managing content marketing
  • You know how to create content that inspires, educates, and adds value for an audience, all while driving them to take action. Your headline-writing skills are unmatched
  • You know how to clearly communicate complex technical concepts and instructions in a way that is accessible, friendly, and easy to understand
  • You know how to adapt your writing to different audiences, including marketers, social media managers, and business, franchise, and agency owners
  • Experience with SEO, lead nurturing, and demand generation
  • Experience writing in a variety of formats, including copywriting, email, shortform articles, longform articles, whitepapers and guides, case studies, etc.
  • Experience with HubSpot or a similar CMS (content management system)
  • Experience in the social media or marketing space is a plus
  • You’re a proactive self-starter with the ability to work independently, demonstrating resourcefulness and strong project management capabilities
