About the Role

Loomly is seeking a talented Product Designer to join our team. This role will have a significant impact on the look and feel of Loomly as well as play a major role in the product development process.

As a Product Designer, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams and be the go-to source for both product and design questions and projects.

What you'll work on
  • Collaborate with Customer Success, Engineering, Marketing, and Product teams to shape and deliver projects.
  • Improve the experience, usability, and design of Loomly.
  • Create new web and mobile designs for new and existing features.
  • Research and identify opportunities for product improvements.
  • Propose solutions based on user research and identifying user problems and needs.
  • Work with engineering to identify technical constraints and complexity.
Must-haves
  • Based in the U.S.
  • Ample experience with the iterative design process - from user research to shipping to measuring impact.
  • History of accounting for edge cases, technical constraints, and usability frustrations with creative and simple solutions.
  • Strong ability to structure thoughts clearly & succinctly in written form for consumption in an asynchronous environment.
  • Proficiency with Figma and/or other similar design tools.
Nice-to-haves
  • Experience with CSS frameworks like TailwindCSS and Bootstrap.
  • Ability to program and understand code, particularly HTML, CSS, Javascript and React.
  • Experience designing SaaS products.
  • Background in or experience with the social media industry.
