Use this workflow to create copies of a post in more than one Loomly calendar. You can choose destination calendars while preparing a new post or when working with a saved post.

Choose destination calendars

  1. Open the post in Post Builder.
  2. Select Clone to other calendars.
  3. In Clone Post to Other Calendars, select one or more destination calendars.
  4. Select Select Calendars to confirm your choices.

The selection dialog lists other calendars available to you. Loomly filters the list so that you can choose only calendars where you have permission to create a post. After you make a selection, the Clone to other calendars button shows the number of selected calendars.

Use the dialog to change the selection before saving. You can select all listed calendars or clear the selection, then select Select Calendars again to keep the destination calendars you want.

Save the post to create the copies

Save the post after selecting the destination calendars. Selecting calendars prepares the copies; saving the post creates them. Loomly creates a separate post in each selected calendar. For a saved post, the clones are created when you save it after selecting the calendars.

Review each selected calendar before publishing

Before publishing, review the connected social accounts and platform-specific validation in each selected calendar. Connection status and publishing requirements can differ between calendars. Loomly can flag missing, failed, expired, or revoked connections in one or more selected calendars, so address any warnings before publishing.

In particular, X (Twitter) does not allow the same content to be published from more than one account. If multiple selected calendars use X, fine-tune the X content differently for each post before publishing.
